8B, Trauma Burn Acute Care earn patient safety honors

Congratulations to the 8B team at University Hospital and the Trauma Burn Acute Care staff, who were recently honored with 365 Days of Safety Awards by the organization! 8B earned the recognition for being CAUTI (Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infection)-free for 365 days, while trauma burn went a full year without at CLABSI (Central Line Associated Blood Stream Infection).   This was 8B’s third award and trauma burn’s second.
